Exalting the Savior in all we do!

Church Membership

Church membership is open to anyone professing a life-changing faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to discipleship evidenced by baptism.

Membership Responsibilities:

1.  Consistent prayer for the church and its ministries.  Lift up the church and its ministries in Spirit led prayer.  God only grows his church through the prayers of his people.

2.  A commitment to Sunday morning worship with the church family.   Your presence builds up the body of Christ and encourages others.  Grow in your knowledge of Jesus Christ through participation in at least one other church-based discipleship event per week.

3.  Seek to use your Spiritual gifts to support the church and its ministries.   Every believer needs to seek out a place of service, whether in a specific ministry or supporting role.  Working together, the church is strengthened to minister to our community and honor Jesus Christ.

4.  Support the church financially through Spirit-led giving.   The church family is encouraged to support church ministries through the giving of tithes and offerings unto the Lord.  Tithes are set amounts given each month as the Lord has laid it on your heart to give.  Offerings are added to the tithe as God reveals additional needs of the church to you.

5.  To guard church unity by refusing to criticize others.  A large part of identifying with a family is the willingness to support each other, offering grace where none is desired.  We must refuse to participate in any words or actions that do not honor each other or Jesus Christ.

6.  Purposely get to know others in the church and encourage them in their faith.  The body of Christ cares for each other and supports both and physical and spiritual needs.  Small groups, such as home Bible studies, ladies Bible studies and other events provide a forum for getting to know each other.

7.  Participate in church business meetings Your input and vote on church business matters helps all of us respond to the Lord’s leading.
